Debate & Story Writing competition Since 1990
SRMS Trust is devoted to the cause of promotion of talent for which it holds each year Debate Competition covering the burning and contemporary issues of the society. Since 1995 the trust organizes a National Level Story Writing Competition every year to promote creativity and literary pursuits. The collection of the awarded short stories got published in a book form entitled “Kaliyug ki Yashodhara” and in the same series fourth book entitled “Swabhiman” was published in 2018. Ram Murti Pratibha Alankaran Award
Recognition of Eminent personalities with the Ram Murti Pratibha Alankaran Award & Rs. One lakh in cash
Since 1993 the Trust annually honours eminent personalities who have made the nation proud with their achievements with Ram Murti Pratibha Alaknaran Award. Some of the people honoured so far are : Prof. M.S. Soda (Ex-Vice Chancellor, Lucknow University) Dr. J.C. Bass (Eye Surgeon, Bareilly), Prof. Wasim Barelvi (Urdu Poet) Dr. Nawal Kishore (gynaecologist) Shri K.P. Saxena (Poet), Col. Suresh Joshi (Eminent Army Personnel), Shri Sudhanshu Ji Maharaj (Preacher & Social Reformer), Ms. Priyanka Chopra (Miss World), Dr. S.K. Agarwal (Ex Director, SGPGI, Lucknow) and others. In year 2018 Shri Ram Saran Verma (Innovative Former) and Shri Kumar Keshav (M.D. of Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation, Ltd.) were honored with Ram Murti Pratibha Alaknaran Award on 2nd October.
Cultural festival ‘Zest’
An annual national level cultural festival called ZEST is organized by the Tyro Club of Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering & Technology, Bareilly to provide opportunities to all the students from different colleges to exhibit their talents in different fields. Teams from Technical and Management colleges/institutes of repute are invited to participate in this festival. Skits, quizzes, music, dance, singing, Antaksahri, fashion show and much more events.
Technical Festival “Techvyom”
Tyro Club of Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering & Technology, Bareilly organizes annual Technical Fest TECHVYOM. In TECHVYOM the college invites other colleges for the event. Students make many interesting robots for events Like: Robo – War, Robo Soccer, model gallery, coding, maze roller, catapult, chain reach, hydrox, vidyut utpadan, CAD contest, LFR etc. Students participated with great enthusiasm and showed passion to win.
Sports Meet “AAMOD”
The Tyro Club of Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering & Technology, Bareilly organises AAMOD, an national annual sports meet, open to all Technical colleges, every year. Various events like: track and field events, various outdoor and indoor games like Badminton, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Basketball, Squash, Football, Kho-Kho, Mini Cricket etc are organised as a part of the celebrations.
Cultural Festival “Blaze”
“BLAZE”, an annual national level cultural festival is jointly organized by the OASIS Club of Shri Ram MurtiSmarak College of Engineering & Technology, Unnao andstudents club of SRMS International Business School. The objective of organizing this type of event in college campus is to bring out various hidden talents of students and to inculcate team spirit and to account for overall personality development of students. It provide platform for budding artists and musicians. Teams from various reputed Engineering and Management colleges/institutes are invited to participate in various events such as MONO ACT, MIME, SKITS, QUIZZES, SINGING, GROUP and SOLO DANCE, FASHION SHOW, STREET PLAY etc.
Technical Festival “Technovation”
“TECHNOVATION”, a one day national level technical festival is organized by OASIS CLUB of Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering & Technology, Unnao, every year, to explore and encourage creativity and innovation in students and offer them a platform to represent themselves and show their competitive spirit.Main focus of this event is innovative model presentation. Students from various engineering colleges are invited to showcase their technical skills in various events like MODEL/PROJECTS PRESENTATION, SOFTWARE & WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT, ROBO WARS, LAN GAMES, TECHNICAL QUIZZES, INNOVATIVE IDEA & POSTER PRESENTATIONS etc.
Sports Meet “UDWIGN”
The OASIS Club of Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering & Technology, UNNAO organizes “UDWIGN”, a national annual sports meet, for the students of various engineering colleges, every year. Various Indoor and outdoor sports activities such as Badminton, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Basketball, Football, Kho-Kho, Mini Cricket, Table Tennis , Chess Championship etc. are organized as a part of this meet. The objective of organizing sports meet is to encourage students to participate in sports activities and develop individual abilities, good attitude of pride, sportsmanship and ethical behavior.
Literary Fest “AURA”
The Literary Club of Shri Ram MurtiSmarak College of Engineering & Technology, Unnao organizes the Literary Fest “AURA”, every year, to give students a platform to showcase their thinking, imagination and writing skills. Various events like Debate Competition, Story Writing, Poetry Writing, Extempore, Group Discussion etc. are organized. The festival is organized to make students careful observers, critical thinkers and curious learners.
