In the fervent display of sportsmanship, SHRI RAM MURTI MEMORIAL INTER SCHOOL CRICKET TOURNAMENT 2024, affiliated to Bareilly Cricket Association (BCA), organized by SRMS TRUST from APRIL 8-18 at SRMS Cricket Stadium, CET Campus, Bareilly culminated today with a bang-on GRAND FINALE between VIDYAA WORLD SCHOOL v/s MISSION ACADEMY, BAHERI, wherein VIDYAA WORLD SCHOOL clinches victory.
VIDYAA WORLD SCHOOL won by 8 wickets, scoring 147/2 runs(18 overs) against Mission Academy’s 146/7 runs (20 overs). However, the prestigious MAN OF THE MATCH title has been clinched by Lakshya Sharma (Vidyaa World School), who scored 98 runs in 53 balls. The award for BEST BATSMAN of the tournament has been grabbed by yet again Lakshya Sharma for scoring 318 runs in 4 innings. Sukhpreet from St. Francis Covent School was felicitated with BEST BOWLER of the tournament trophy, for earning 10 wickets in 3 innings. PLAYER OF THE TOURNAMENT (overall) went to Asad Naddaf from Mission Academy for scoring 321 runs & earning 4 wickets in 4 innings. The Grand Finals concluded with a group photograph & prize distribution ceremony with all the winners being honored with memento & certificates.
The culmination of the grand 10-day tournament witnessed motivational address & presentation of tournament report by Aditya Murti, Trust Secretary, followed by inspiring words of Shri Dev Murti, Chairman SRMS Trust in the presence of Shahzil Islam Ansari, MLA, Bhojipura; Sita Ram Saxena, Secretary, BCA; OP Kohli, Sr Joint Secretary, BCA; Er Subhash Mehra, Trust Advisor; Dr Prabhakar Gupta, Principal SRMS CET; Dr Sovan Mohanty, Organizing Secretary along with school Directors, Managers, Principals & Sports teachers.
The Scholarship Distribution Ceremony— a much-anticipated event of Shri Ram Murti Smarak Trust that takes place every year at SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET) Bareilly, witnesses the celebration of academic excellence & support to deserving students. SRMS Institutions feel thrilled to honor its brightest minds with well-deserved scholarships, acknowledging their academic achievements & fostering excellence in their educational pursuits.
Among the scholarship recipients, MOHD AFZAL ANSARI, a B Tech CS student of SRMS CET, Batch 2022, received a scholarship of Rs 88,000 by SRMS Trust, wherein, his exemplary academic accomplishment has brought pride to SRMS Institutions.
In light of this achievement, Afzal Ansari says, “I feel immensely privileged to have been awarded a scholarship worth Rs 88,000 from SRMS Trust, for achieving 88% in my first-year examination. The thrilling 5 day-long Annual Sports Fest ‘AAMOD’ of Shri Ram Murti Smarak (SRMS) Trust Institutions, Bareilly | Lucknow | Unnao from APRIL 8-13, 2024 culminated with grand PRIZE DISTRIBUTION CEREMONY, wherein winners were honored for their meticulous win.
Organized by SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET) Bareilly in association with Tyro Club, the fest saw gala participation of students of SRMS Trust Institutions, across a diverse range of sporting events like Basketball, Volleyball, Football, Badminton, Table Tennis, Chess, Carrom, Mix Cricket, Kho-Kho & Athletics including 100, 200 & 400-Meter Race, Long Jump, High Jump, Shotput, Discuss Throw & 4*100 Relay Race.

Displaying an exhilarating #CricketKaBlockbuster moments, the ongoing SHRI RAM MURTI MEMORIAL INTER SCHOOL CRICKET TOURNAMENT—2024, affiliated to Bareilly Cricket Association & organized by SRMS TRUST from APRIL 8-18 at SRMS Cricket Stadium, CET Campus, Bareilly, saw intense 1ST& 2ND SEMI-FINALS (SF) today, on April 16th.
In the attention-gripping Semi-Finals played between MISSION ACADEMY, BAHERI v/s ST. FRANCIS CONVENT SCHOOL & DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL v/s VIDYAA WORLD SCHOOL respectively, teams showcased remarkable skills, determination & sportsmanship on the cricket field. Finally, MISSION ACADEMY won by 139 runs in 1ST SF, scoring 258/2 runs (20 overs) against ST. FRANCIS’S 119/10 runs (17.1 overs). In 2ND SF, VIDYAA WORLD emerged victoriousby172 runs, scoring 215/3 (20 overs) against DPS’s score of 43/10 (12.5 overs).

Today’s clashes in 3rd & 4th QF’s of the tournament 2024 were nothing short of electrifying, which was played today (April 15th) between POLICE MODERN SCHOOL, PAC v/s ST. FRANCIS COVENT SCHOOL & BEDI INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL v/s VIDYAA WORLD SCHOOL respectively. Finally, ST. FRANCIS emerged victorious by 18 runs, scoring 107/10 runs (18 overs) against POLICE MODERN’S 89/10 runs (15.1overs). The 4th QF has been won by VIDYAA WORLD SCHOOL by 181 runs, setting a score of 235/3 (20 overs) against BEDI INTERNATIONAL’s 54/10 (16.5 overs).
However, Sukhpreet from St. Francis secured the coveted MAN OF THE MATCH title in the 3RD QF for earning 4 wickets, while Lakshya Sharma from Vidyaa Bhawan clinched the title for making 95 runs in 39 balls.

After gripping round of matches, the 1ST & 2ND Quarter-Finals were played today(April 13th) between MISSION ACADEMYBAHERI v/s PM SHREE KVNER &RADHA MADHAV SCHOOL v/s DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL respectively. MISSION ACADEMY won by 10 wickets in 1ST QF on a score of 60/0 runs (3.4 overs) against KV NER’s 58/10 (16.5 overs), wherein DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL won by 10 wickets in 2ND QF, earning 69/0 runs (5.3 overs) against RADHA MADHAV’s 67/10 (12.2 overs).
