“Play with colours, smeared the white canvasses with a spectrum of colours and give vent to your imagination”.
Keeping it in mind, VERVE, Student Welfare Club of Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering, Technology & Research, Bareilly conducted an Art Competition on 15th March, 2018. Deeply engrossed in their own creative world; the participants gave vent to their imagination and aesthetic exploration creating magical expressions on canvas. This event provided a platform to students for showcasing their talent with the pencil & color.
The event was marked with the presence of esteemed members of the SRMS Trust: Mr. Aditya Murti, Trust Secretary, Madam Richa Murti, Er. Shubhash Mehra, SRMS Trust Administrator, Dr. Shyam Bihari Gupta, Principal, SRMS IMS, Prof(Dr.) Prabhakar Gupta, Dean Academics, SRMS CET&R, Dr. Rajesh Tyagi, Academic Coordinator, SRMS CET&R , Er. Santosh Khare, DSW, SRMSCET, Mr. Shailesh Saxena, DSW, SRMS CET&R and HODs of various departments of different institutions.
Transformation of a series of small things into visual expression was the main crux of this endeavor. The aim was to provide a platform for the budding artists to bring out their latent creativity. Students participated actively which marked the event with great success.
About 67 students from across all the SRMS Trust run institutions participated with great enthusiasm. There were four categories under this event:
- Oil Painting
- Pencil Sketching
- Canvas Painting
- Spray Painting
In a short span of 2 hours, all the participants created creative works of art and at last the students are awarded with prizes and certificates.
