Value Addition Programme

Various value addition courses inducted in mechanical engineering curriculum for enhancement of design and simulation capabilities are:

  • Auto CAD – For 2D and 3D Design and drafting.
  • Creo and Uni Graphics NX.8 – For Parametric design, simulation and manufacturing.
  • Ansys – For design validation and simulation.

MATLAB 2015

To improve students with the industrial requirements of Graphical and Programming Analysis with MATLAB® 2015a; 2 hours rigorous sessions per week scheduled for 2nd year, 3rd year and 4th year students. Students are acknowledged with Scripting, Function Assignment, Variable Definition (Universal And Local), Structures & Plotting (2-D, 3-D), using definitions and functions involuntarily and importing data from EXCEL. They learn utilizing data from multiple sheets from EXCEL file & analyzing data for Regression Analysis.

PLC and SCADA

To improve understanding of commercial and industrial control applications PLC, also known as programmable controller, are taught to the 4th year students. PLCs can differ from office computers in the types of tasks that they perform and the hardware and software they require performing these tasks. Students learn SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) that operates with coded signals over communication channels so as to provide control of remote equipment (using typically one communication channel per remote station).

Embedded System

Embedded system is the core of every intelligent device. To improve the skill of understanding of circuits system and their fabrication on real type system 2 hours per week session are conducted for 2nd year and 3rd year students.

VLSI Design

roteus PCB design combines the schematic capture and ARES PCB layout programs to provide a powerful, integrated and easy to use suite of tools for professional PCB Design.2 hour’s session per week is conducted to enhance the skills of 3rd year and 4th year students.

C Programming

C is a general-purpose, imperative computer programming language, supporting structured programming, lexical variable scope and recursion, while a static type system prevents many unintended operations. Originally developed by Dennis M. Ritchie to develop the UNIX operating system at Bell Labs.

C++ Programming

C++ is an object oriented programming (OOP) language, developed by Bjarne Stroustrup, and is an extension of C language. It is therefore possible to code C++ in a “C style” or “object-oriented style.”

Core/Advanced Java

Java is a general-purpose computer programming language that is concurrent, class-based, object-oriented, and specifically designed to have as few implementation dependencies as possible. It is intended to let application developers “write once, run anywhere” (WORA), meaning that compiled Java code can run on all platforms that support Java without the need for recompilation.

ASP.NET

ASP.NET is an open-source  server-side Web application framework designed for Web development to produce dynamic Web pages. It was developed by Microsoft to allow programmers to build dynamic web sites, web applications and web services.

PHP

PHP (recursive acronym for PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor) is a widely-used open source general-purpose scripting language that is especially suited for web development and can be embedded into HTML.

ANDROID

Android is a mobile operating system (OS) currently developed by Google, based on the Linux kernel and designed primarily for touchscreen mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. 

SACALA

Scala is an acronym for “Scalable Language”. Scala is a pure-bred object-oriented language. Conceptually, every value is an object and every operation is a method-call. The language supports advanced component architectures through classes and traits.

LISP

Lisp is the second-oldest high-level programming language. It quickly became the favored programming language for artificial intelligence (AI) research. As one of the earliest programming languages, Lisp pioneered many ideas in computer science, including tree data structures, automatic storage management, dynamic typing, conditionals, higher-order functions, recursion, and the self-hosting compiler.

PERL

Perl is a family of high-level, general-purpose, interpreted, dynamic programming languages. The languages in this family include Perl 5 and Perl 6.

PROLOG

Prolog is a general purpose logic programming language associated with artificial intelligence and computational linguistics.

R-Programming

R is a programming language and software environment for statistical computing and graphics. The R language is widely used among statisticians and data miners for developing statistical software and data analysis.

Oracle DataBase

Oracle database (Oracle DB) is a relational database management system (RDBMS) from the Oracle Corporation. Oracle DB is one of the most trusted and widely-used relational database engines.

SQL DataBase

SQL is a special-purpose programming language designed for managing data held in a relational database management system (RDBMS), or for stream processing in a relational data stream management system (RDSMS).

MySQL DataBase

MySQL is the world’s most popular open source database. MySQL is an open-source relational database management system (RDBMS), in July 2013, it was the world’s second most widely used RDBMS, and the most widely used open-source client–server model RDBMS.

Opnet Simulator

OPNET simulator is a tool to simulate the behavior and performance of any type of network.
