Debate is one of the academic activities that give students creative room to express what they feel. The length and breadth of knowledge that participants and audience gain is simply unparalleled. With the same perspective in view Literary Club of Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering & Technology, Unnao has organized a debate competition on the topic “Technological advances contribute to higher unemployment rates.” on 24th January 2019.
Adhisha Raj of CS IV Semester and Prathistha Chaurasyia of CS II Semester were the coordinators of this activity.
All the participants exhibited great oratorical skills and displayed confidence in showing statistics and arguments in support of their views.
For the motion category Nainy Vaish of CS II Semester bagged the best speaker award and Shikhar Shukla of ME IV Semester received the second best speaker award.
In against the motion category Harsh Srivastava of CS IV Semester was adjudged the best speaker award and Muskan of CS II Semester was declared the second best speaker.
