Industrial Exposure Initiative
To cope up with the National Challenge of poor employability of Engineering Graduates, especially in the Core Engineering Streams like Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and Electronics & Communication Engineering, the Training, Development & Placement Cell of Shri Ram Murti Smarak Engineering Institutions, Bareilly- Lucknow has conceptualized an Industrial Exposure Initiative for the Pre-Final Year students, pursuing B.Tech. in these core streams.
The idea of such initiative is to provide an industrial exposure to the students during VI Semester of the curriculum and to enable them to devise the plan with proper guidance of their teachers for their 6 Weeks Industrial Training to be pursued after completion of VI Semester.
The meritorious students, pursuing B.Tech. III Year in the aforesaid core streams from SRMS Engineering Institutions, Bareilly – Lucknow are offered One Week Industrial Exposure Session in reputed industrial units of U.P., Haryana & Uttarakhand under this initiative. For this purpose, the merit of the students is prepared on the basis of their aggregate percentage till B.Tech. III Semester along with their performance in the Online Assessment at the start of VI Semester.

Relying on its focus of developing the students in the emerging technologies and to nurture innovation & entrepreneurship among the students, SRMS College of Engineering & Technology, Bareilly has established the following Centers of Excellence:
These centers of excellence are developed in view of the recommendations of Training & Development Cell on the basis of its interactions with the HR officials of the various leading companies and the senior alumni of SRMS Engineering Institutions.
During the academic session 2017-18, the following students registered themselves for pursuing an On-Campus dedicated training program of 40 hours through internal as well as external experts fromreputed training organizations at subsidized fees:

These training programs are being conducted through weekly sessions of 5 hours on Saturdays with continuous assessment through assignments and quizzes. The students are being jointly certified by the institution and the training organizations. Further, in case of Data Analytics & Internet of Things (IoT), the certification is also being offered by National Skill Development Corporation, Govt. of India.
