Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering & Technology, Bareilly hosted its marquee event – Techvyom 2K17 in style on the 8 April 2017. The Annual Tech Fest offers a platform to tech geniuses to showcase their talents while maintaining high energy and keeping the fun levels intact. All these elements were at the forefront during the revelries of the event that saw high participation from students of various colleges, which made it a huge success.
Techvyom 2K17 was inaugurated in a glittering ceremony in the presence of important members of the SRMS Trust: Shri Dev Murti- Chairman, Shri Aditya Murti- Trust Secretary & Mrs. Richa Murti- Trust Administrator, SRMS Trust; Er. Subhash Mehra- SRMS Trust Administrator; Dr. Prabhakar Gupta- Principal, SRMS CET Bareilly and Dr. A. K. Srivastava- Principal SRMS CETR, Bareilly. Shri Dev Murti Ji set the tone for the event with his inspiring words.
One of the highlights of the Tech fest at SRMS CET, Bareilly is that a series of exciting events are organized by six clubs of the institute. Aeronautics Club (Mechanical Engineering), Synergy Club (Electrical & Electronics Engineering ), IT Club (Information technology), Equinox Club (Computer science engineering), Robotrax Club (Electronics & Communication Engineering), Pharmquimica Club (B. Pharm.) and Literary Club (Professional communication, Basic sciences) had joined hands to make the event a huge success.
Student bodies, Tyro, SRMS CET, Bareilly, and Verve, SRMS CETR, Bareilly, who had organized the event had their representatives talk about the significance of Techvyom 2k17 in today’s technology driven times. Then it was time for the activities to unfold and students from different colleges put their best step forward to showcase their talents and win the prestigious honors. Easy camaraderie amidst intense competition was on display during the events.
Pick and Place, Soccer Bot, Wrong Turn, Maneuver and Kurukshetra were the events organized by the club Robotrax. Pharmquimica upped the competition with Mikrografia, Aavishkarak, Lifeline Station and Anukriti. Equinox had events like Javaguru, Doshmarjan C, Asmanjas, Text-O-Nova, Coder Coding and Present Your View. Aeronautics brought technical skills to the forefront with Chain reaction, Catapult, Bridge-O-Mania, Hydrax-arm and Machine-o-manic. IT quest, Fault, Doodle Making, Website Designing and Android Application were the events organized by the IT club. Synergy was responsible for popular activities like Electrical Quiz, Electromania, Innovation and Vidhut Udpadan.
These events were a good mix of fun games, quizzes and other activities that raised the excitement levels amongst the participants and cheering audiences alike. As Techvyom 2K17 offered a massive platform for students to showcase their ground breaking ideas, it also offered them an avenue to engage in fun filled activities. Above all, it ensured that students bonded with their contemporaries and made memories that will be with them for long.
