SRMS International Business School campus was buzzing with excitement and activity on 18th January as representatives from ICICI Securities Limited came calling to enroll students for its Flagship – StockMIND contest. The popular and hugely anticipated contest is in its 5th season and the top brand from the corporate world was back at SRMS IBS after successfully enrolling sharp minds from the institute in the past.
StockMIND has become the biggest virtual stock market competition for students in the country. An initiative by ICICIdirect Centre For Financial Learning (ICFL), the unique competition creates an interesting and engaging platform for students who get an insight into the functioning of the stock market while using virtual money. Over the years the competition has helped lakhs of students understand stock market dealings and use the knowledge in professional careers too.
Hence it wasn’t surprising to see huge amounts of interests amongst students of SRMS IBS on the D Day. Ms. Smita Chakraborty and Mr. Argha Chakraborty were the executives from the company, who made their presence felt on campus. They spoke highly of the performance of past students from the institute, who had competed and held their own with management students from other prestigious colleges of the country, including the IIMs.
Interested students put their best step forward to make an impression with the executives enrolling for the contest.
