SRMS IBS imbibes as much industry experience in its students as possible to enhance their learning experience. Its PGDM students had the opportunity to learn the about the Paper Industry by visiting the production unit of Yash Papers Limited, Faizabad.
Ms. Aprajita Saxena from the company apprised the students about consumer, industrial and protective packaging solutions produced by the company. Students were excited to see the paper machines that manufacture low grammage machine glazed (MG) industrial bleached and unbleached grades of paper. They saw the production of paper grades for wrapping and pharmaceutical uses, among others.
The executives from almost all departments met the students and briefed them about production, costing, supply chain management and marketing of the company’s products.
The day long industrial visit was a great learning experience for all participating students.
