SRMS International Business School organized Alumni Meet

Shri Ram Murti Smarak International Business School (SRMSIBS) held its Alumni Meet on 24th April 2019 at 6pm in the evening with an objective to connect alumni’s of the Institute and make their bond stronger with their alma-mater.The alumni’s at the onset were served high tea and this moment was looked unto as an opportunity to interact amongst themselves, current batch and teachers.

Alumni Meet officially started with the warm welcome along with an invocation song seeking the blessings of almighty followed by lighting of lamp by Prof. Shyamal Gupta, Director of SRMSIBS accompanied by all faculty members. Prof. Gupta welcomed all the alumni for responding to the invitation from college and making time for it out of their busy lives. He then spoke of the journey of SRMS trust and SRMS International business School across the years he did this using a multimedia presentation, Titled – “Trip down memory lane…” which chronicled the voyage of the alumni of SRMSIBS from 2011 to the present.Prof Gupta assured the students that SRMSIBS is for all the alumni till they have the institute name in their resume .(assured each of the alumni is an ambassador of the institute as they bear the name of it on their resume that propels them ahead in their professional lives)

Then the Alumni’s shared their experiences and the interesting moments of their campus life. They told the current batch that whatever they learn in this institute would always be helpful in their approaching professional life. They praised the institute and faculty members for their commitment to ensure their overall professional development.

The event then witnessed the fun session with ,Interesting games consisting short riddles. The alumni were then presented with a token of love in the form of memento.

Finally the official program ended with a vote of thanks to the Alumni for taking the time to come for the event and making it a very special and a memorable one. Then the event witnessed the awaited gala dinner and DJ night. All the alumni had a great time and appreciated the efforts of the institute to have let them cherish their memories of college days. The alumni’sas suggested now look forward to the meets every year here onwards.
