On March 12, at SRMS IBS Students held a discussion session to review the first full-year budget released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government on February 28, 2015. All the faculties along with The Director sir made their presence,The Students discussed the significance of the budget for different sectors, key takeaways, the hits, and misses, as well as what actions they would like to see the Indian government take vis-à-vis the Indian economy over the next few months. At the same time The Director SRMS IBS Prof. Shyamal Gupta gave a new dimension to the discussion where he shared the Macro Economic View of the budget . He made everyone aware that the total sanctioned amount in a year by the central government to the state government is more than the total amount sanctioned by the previous government during their entire five years.
