On behalf of the organising committee, it gives me an immense pleasure in inviting you to one day CME cum Hands on Workshop on Difficult Airway Management, AIRWAY UPDATE 2019, being held in SRMS IMS, Bareilly.The aim of this CME cum Workshop is to ensure that Airway Managers (Anaesthesiologist, Intensivist, Pulmonologist, Emergency Physicians) should know everything about the must know areas in Airway Management ; not only the skills but also the science behind those skills! The event will have lectures by reputed faculty with knowledge and expertise in the field. It is primarily aimed at postgraduate trainees & consultants wishing to develop , refresh and update skills in managing patients with a difficult airway. There will be lectures, interactive discussions and over 3 hours hands on workshop to reinforce the theory and refine manual dexterity. We are sure that this will be an excellent opportunity for all delegates to empower themselves with new knowledge and practices in airway management, We are looking forward to meet and greet you here at SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences, Bareilly.


Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences, Bareilly is the most modern 950 bedded multi super specialty, tertiary care hospital and and MCI recognized Medical College. It offers Undergraduate (M.B.B.S) and Postgraduate (M.D/ M.S) courses in various subjects.

The Department of Anaesthesiology is one of the premier department in the Institute. We work with Multi disciplinary team approach. We have dedicated team of more than 10 consultants, 6 Senior residents & 18 postgraduate residents.The Anaesthesiologists are helped by the state of the art Anaesthetic equipments such as FOB, USG, Proseal LMAs. Services provided include preoperative check ups, various operations & cater service to MRI, Cath lab, IVF & Pain Management. Department works efficiently & dedication to be the backbone of the Institution. The department conducted the 38 th Annual State Conference ISACONUP 2016 in association with ISA Bareilly. The department has organized two Pain Management & Hands On Workshops successfully. This is first CME cum workshop on Airway.
