On 9th March 2019 the representatives from Lenskart Company visited Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Paramedical Sciences, Bareilly (U.P.) for giving a Guest Lecture on ‘Dispensing Optometry’ in which the students of first, second and final year were present. Students showed a keen interest in the lectures delivered by them.
Lenskart is revolutionizing and reforming the eyewear industry in India and have over 80 retail stores across the country, and provide eye check-up. They also provide International quality, computerized equipment, certified optometrist, and the best home eye check-up experience. They selected about 09 students from our college in the campus placement drive in 2019.
In the end they advised students about various career options in the field of Optometry and encouraged them to enroll for specialized courses in the area of eyewear for a bright future ahead.
Er. Subhash Mehra, Trust Administrator; Dr. Anil Gupta, Principal Paramedical; Dr. Akhil Agarwal, Consultant Ophthalmologist SRMS IMS & Mr. Imran Ahmad Ansari, Faculty Optometry were present during the discussion hour in the event.
The ceremony concluded by honoring the guests with mementos and the vote of thanks by Dr. Akhil Agarwal, Consultant Ophthalmologist, SRMS IMS for the successful conduct of the event.
