Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering & Technology has organized a symposium on “IMPORTANCE OF GANDHIAN THOUGHTS AND PRINCIPLES IN TODAY’S GENERATION”. The purpose of the symposium is to discuss about the philosophy and thoughts of Mahatma Gandhi and the relevance of his principles and teachings is today’s time. The symposium was organized on 27th September, 2018.
Students from SRMSCET and as well as from SRMSIBS participated actively in that symposium and expressed their opinion. They presented their thoughts about philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi for different sections of our society especially academics, students and youth.
Different aspects like political, economic, social, cleanliness, educational are discussed by the students at symposium.
A competition is also organized among the students in which they have to justify the relevance of Gandhian Philosophy in solving different social, economic, political problems of today’s time.
Arushi Chaudhary (SRMS IBS), Shreya Kesarwani (SRMS IBS) and Harsh Srivastava (SRMS CET) are the winners of the competitions. Students are also given participation certificates.
