“Pharmacy United in action for a healthier world”, the theme for the 10th World Pharmacist Day is deciphered with the meaning of a united front and aims to showcase pharmacy’s positive impact on health around the world and to further strengthen solidarity among the profession.
SRMS CET, Bareilly celebrated this meaningful day gloriously. Various events were organised to honour the spirit of pharmacists, structured by their Pharmaquimica Club. The Inaugural ceremony initialized with lamp lighting, soulful Saraswati Vandana and Sansthan geet gave the ideal start to the day. Chairman Sir, Shri Dev Murti Ji, Dean Academics, Dr. Prabhakar Gupta, Director of Pharmacy, Dr. Arti Gupta and other dignitaries graced the event. The chief guest, Mrs. Babita Malik, Drug inspector, Bareilly glorified the event humbly and shared her knowledge.
Various events intrigued the students. Poster Presentation, Sales Maniac, Treasure Hunt and Spotlight Fight nudged the students to narrate and represent their enthuse and skills with spectacular performances.
“Winning is a secondary goal, participation is the first”. With this spirit in hearts, prize distribution awarded the victors of various events held throughout the day.
The Best Pharmacist Award was presented to Shruti Saxena. Trust Secretary Aditya Murti, addressed the gathering. Miss Shipra Sharma concluded the event.
