The Training, Development & Placement Cell of SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (SRMS CET), Bareilly organized a Faculty Development Program on “Business Communication in IT Industry” on 3 July 2017 for the benefit of SRMS CET and SRMS CETR faculty members. Conducted by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Lucknow, the program helped impart valuable insights on the importance of and need for business communication in industrial framework.
Mr. Sandeep Joshi, Senior Manager, Technical Communication led the program on behalf of TCS. The importance of English as the lingua franca of international business was stressed by the instructors. They also emphasized the potential of communication to drive dramatic changes in organizations and their environment. Mr. Vishal Seth, Academic Relationship Manager, Mr. Syed Mohd Zaidinhonvi, Lead Campus Hiring, and Mr. Navneet, HR Associate were the other executives from TCS present on the occasion.
The role of B-schools as emergent hubs catering to communication needs of the business elite in the basic principles of sustainable development was also discussed. Linked to this, Due to this reason, it was stated that B-schools should focus on business communication, thus creating synergies to cater to the demands of the industry.
The program proved to be of great value for the 100+ faculty members in attendance who got practical insights into communication strategies in IT industry.
