A motivational session by IAS Chief Development Officer Shri Mohan Chandra Garg was conducted in Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering and Technology for the first-year batch of all the courses of SRMSCET and SRMSCETR. The officer was given red carpet welcome by the Trust Secretary ,Mr. Aditya Murti , Dean Academics ,Dr. Prabhakar Gupta and Training and Placement Head Dr. Anuj Kumar. The main incentive of the officer behind the motivational session was to convey the message “Don’t decide too early your aim of life by influence.”
He started the session with tips to be successful and how can we fulfil our dreams. He mentioned that one has to burn the midnight oil to turn our dreams into reality and even if we fail, we should never get dishearten as every adversity, disappointment and failure carries with it the seed of success.
Apart from this he mentioned about the importance of time management and positive attitude in life. He further laid emphasis on the quality people we should surround ourselves with whom we can discuss our shortcomings and commemorate our achievements. In the end he concluded with the line “Nobody is born with the skills. Do it, experience it, achieve it.”
By defining the role of good qualities and humbleness in human life he has motivated the young generation grooming in the field of Engineering, Management and Pharmacy and concluded with :
“Winners are not the people who never fail, but the people who never quit”.
At the end of session of IAS Garg there was an environment of enthusiasm and zeal among the students.
