Setting in motion the third day of the Orientation Week, ‘Aarambh – 2020’, on November 26, 2020, for students of MBA-MCA (Batch 2020-2022), SRMS CET, Bareilly, organised several guest lectures and a very exciting caricature contest.
A seminar on Process Orientation V/S Result Orientation was held, led by Dr. Anuj Kumar, HoD, MCA and TDP. He highlighted the importance of ideating, planning, and strategising for success to lead students to be result-oriented in everything they do. Another guest lecture was held, this time led by Mr. Anoop Parashar, who spoke about the employability skills that students should inculcate. He underlined the importance of creativity and out-of-the-box thinking, and took students down memory lane by recounting his journey in life as well as his achievements. He spoke at length about how to focus and translate passion for new-age digital strategies and concepts into a start-up. After the guest lecture, a session was led by Mr. Abhay Singh Bhadauria, Assistant Professor at MCA, who discussed the importance and basics of web designing.
Next was a fun caricature session coordinated by Mr. Amit Kumar Srivastava, Assistant Professor, MBA. The activity gave students a chance to showcase their creativity and engage with one another. While each participant impressed with their artistic skills, two teams emerged on top:
Team 1
1st position:
Arun Kumar, Gitanjali, and Sameeksha.
Team 2
2nd position:
Amit Kumar, Anshika Maurya, and Pankhuri Saxena.
All winners will be awarded appreciation certificates at the end of the Orientation Week.
