With cut-throat competition today, finding a good job with a job role and company of your choice is not only difficult, but stressful. So when I got a job offer from Cognizant, I was on cloud 9 and I knew whom to thank – my mentors and the institute.

At SRMS, we have well structured Laboratories equipped with latest configuration branded computers and a mixed of open source and licensed software. Lessons learnt inside the four walls of the classroom and outside, helped me a great deal in cracking the placement interview.

With the help of resume assessment sessions, group discussions, aptitude tests, psychometric test, subject knowledge test, and interviews with alumni and faculty members; I had developed a fair idea of how to handle questions during placement interviews.

Weekly conduct of subject seminar to improve communication and presentation skills of the students. Monthly publication of E-Magazine to encourage writing skills of students and faculty members. Improved my critical thinking, interpersonal skills & analytical skills & more.

As a beginner, industry visits were my first real-world exposure to learning about how organizations work. Heward Packard AND NESTLE is where we interacted with professionals and gained valuable insights. By understanding the practical applications of management concepts, I gained the confidence to take on the challenges of the corporate world.

At SRMS, we were trained to understand and deal well with hardware as well as software part of any system thus increase efficiency of our engineer’s in the market. The institute’s brand name and well-regarded reputation helped me a great deal in getting placed at NIIT! Thanks SRMS.

The placement process can be nerve-wracking at times, but since I had prepared for it several times through the Pre Placement Program at SRMS, it was a cakewalk. Value addition Courses & Training Programs and courses in the area of design, thermal and manufacturing ;Like ANSYS, FLUENT and GAMBIT etc. interviews filled with me with the confidence to present myself as an ideal candidate for the company of my choice.
