The Training, Development & Placement Cell at SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (SRMS CET) Bareilly in association with E-school, Bareilly, recently conducted an Alumni Guest Lecture by an esteemed alumnus of B Tech CS (Batch 2014) Gurbaksh Singh Gabbi, who is currently working as Software Development Engineer-2 (SDE) at Flipkart, on the topic ‘Are you Becoming Industry Ready? —Take the 1st step towards a groundbreaking career’.
During his valuable address, the Keynote Speaker gave valuable insights to the participating students of B Tech third year of CET & CET&R, and MCA first year on career opportunities in the engineering industry, tips on how to succeed in your career, along with personal journey and experiences. Nearly 104 students attended the knowledge-driven lecture, and got an opportunity to hear from someone who has walked the same path as them and succeeded in the industry.
The event was graced by Er Subhash Mehra, SRMS Trust Advisor; Dr Prabhakar Gupta, Dean Academics; Dr Anuj Kumar, Director-TDP Cell and Nirmal Joshi, Training & Placement Officer. Later, the vote of thanks was given by Hiresh Gupta, HOD (CS), who expressed his gratitude towards Gurbaksh Singh Gabbi for sharing valuable industry and career insights, and sparing out his time.
