On 25 September, the annual World Pharmacists Day, the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP) encourages pharmacists to organize activities that promote the pharmacist’s role in improving health around the world.

Inspired by the theme of this year’s World Pharmacists Day – ‘Pharmacists: Your medicines experts’ – the Pharmquimica Club in College of Pharmacy at Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering & Technology, Bareilly is organizing a series of activities on 25 September.

The student club Pharmquimica will host the following events to mark World Pharmacists Day 2018:

Poster Presentation:

Aavishkarak:

A problem solving activity using ideas that involves the presentation of a working or non-working model.

Sales Maniacs:

Spotlight Fight:

The theme of this year’s World Pharmacists Day emphasizes that pharmacists, using their learning to protect health and prevent illness, are a trusted source of knowledge and advice for patients and for other healthcare professionals. As Dr Carmen Peña (President, FIP) says, ‘This year, we focus on the extensive expertise that pharmacists have and put to use every day to ensure better patient health. This expertise is applied through science and research, through educating the next generation, and through transforming patient needs into services.’ (https://www.fip.org/worldpharmacistsday)
