SRMSCET’s Tyro Club 2020 organised a memorable Oath Ceremony on December 28, 2020. Dignitaries participated in the lamp lighting, Saraswativandana and sansthangeet, and received saplings to mark the occasion.
SRMS’ culture entails paying homage to Lord Ganesha so along this vein, a group of talented girls performed a dance on Ganesh vandana. This was followed by soulful singing by Mr. Shorya Khatri and a classical solo dance and Western group dance by Ms. Kriti Saxena and second-year students, respectively.
As the adage goes, nothing is permanent except change. The old Tyro team handed over charge of the club to the new team who presented a sweet farewell video. Tyro President (2019) Mr. Ashutosh Singh addressed the audience and shared experiences of his journey before handing over the charge to newly appointed Tyro President, Ms. Shivangi Shukla. The Club’s members also took oaths under her guidance.
To thank members of Tyro Club 2019 for their brilliant performance, Honourable Chairman, Shri Dev Murti Ji, and Honourable SRMS Trust Secretary, Shri Aditya Murti Ji, distributed certificates. The event was closed by a vote of thanks from Tyro Secretary (2020), Mr. Hutashan Raj Srivastava, followed by singing of the National Anthem.
