Adding another feather to its cap and taking significant step towards promoting sustainable development practices, SRMS Institutions has achieved another milestone during the two- day International Conference (April 28-29) on EICBI’23 ‘Emerging Challenges & Strategies in Post-Pandemic & Regional Conflicts Era’ by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with United Nations Global Compact Network India (UNGCNI). Through this partnership, SRMS Institutions aim to lead by example and inspire other educational institutions to doptsustainable development practices in the education sector in India & become more socially responsible.
The signing of MoU will open enormous opportunities for SRMS students to imbibe sustainable practices in their daily lives, wherein they shall undergo projects based on sustainability that will further help in achieving 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as decided by UN along with targets to be achieved by 2030.
The prestigious MOU was signed on April 28, 2023 by Mr Ratnesh on behalf of UNGCNI, Executive Director, UN Global Compact Network India & Shri Dev Murti, Founder and Managing Trustee, SRMS Trust on the behalf of SRMS Institutions, which is a significant beginning to promote sustainable development practices, environmental protection & social responsibility within the SRMS Institutions & surrounding community. The ceremony continued with valuable addresses from Keynote Speaker, Professor Kun-Huang Huarng, Vice President, Distinguished Professor, National Taipei University of Business (NTUB), Taiwan; Shri Aditya Murti, Secretary SRMS Trust & Chief Guest, Shri Dev Murti. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Professor (Dr) Anuj Kumar, Head TDP Cell, SRMS Institutions.
