Aiming to provide an intense knowledge of “Good Clinical Practices[ICH-GCP]” a training
cum workshop was organised by Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering and
Technology (Pharmacy) at New Seminar Hall for students and faculties to promote the
concept of international ethical and scientific quality standard for the design.
The training session inaugurated with the consecration chords of Saraswati Vandana
accompanied by lighting the lamp. The special guest and keynote speaker Dr.Abhijit Munshi
[Ethics Committee Consultant,GCP Trainer, Director and Head Clinical Operations at
Alchemy Clinical Research Services, Central India Institute of Management Studies Nagpur,
Maharashtra (India)] furthermore Puneet Mittal[Director Clinical Research Mittal Global
Clinical Trial Services].The dignitaries acquainted were (Director Pharmacy) Prof.(Dr.) Nitin
Sharma,all the faculty members and students.The special guest speakers were welcomed
with saplings and badges as a token of salutation.
The gathering was address by Director Pharmacy, their words accommodate the honour
towards the guest speakers and fascinated the audience with the Good Clinical Practices
Importance and fundamental principles of the protection of human subject, the main
authoritative bodies, key codes and scope of enforcement.The keynote speaker Dr.Abhijit
Munshi lecture focused on critique proposals that may cause risks to human subjects and
protections of vulnerable populations as well as paved light on International Council for
Harmonisation.
The training cum workshop was concluded by emphasizing the yield and norms both locus in
present setup’s of clinical practices.The guests were appreciated and acknowledged by
token of contentment and gratitude for marking their presence and contributing towards the
workshop.The momento’s were handed over to the guest as the token of memory.The
session was consummated by vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Shipra
Sharma(Pharmquimica Faculty Incharge).
