The 72nd Republic Day was celebrated in SRMS CET&R with a lot of patriotism and enthusiasm.
The celebration was graced with the presence of Honourable Chairman Shri Dev Murti Sir, Trust Secretary Shri Aditya Murti Sir ,Dean Academics Prof.(Dr.) Prabhakar Gupta, HOD Basic Science Dr.Ritu Singh, HOD Law Dr.Ausaf ahmed Malik, Chief Proctor Dr. Rajeev Kumar Pandey, DSW Dr. Avijit Bhowmick , Deputy DSW Dr. Ramesh Tripathi, Prinicipal Nursing Prof.(Dr.) Shamashad Alam ,Principal Law Dr.Mukut Lal Sharma
The program started with the Flag unfurling by Honourable Chairman Shri Dev Murti Sir followed by National Anthem. A mash-up song was sung by the students of Nursing and the theme was Patriotic. Students of Law performed a skit which taught everyone should believe in secularism and humanity. Members of Raga Club presented a very energetic and melodious nationalistic group song. Chairperson Raaga sang a solo song to which everyone hummed in joy. A student of law recited a very beautiful poem written by the renowned poet Dr.Kumar Vishwas.
Hon’ble Chairman Sir delivered his valuable speech which made students realise their duties towards the nation and how they play a very important role in changing the course of economy downfall we are currently facing.
Also, the wall magazine was inaugurated by our Honourable Chairman Shri Dev Murti Sir and the theme was based on Patriotism. This occasion was also preferred for the Certificate distribution to the Former VERVE CLUB members by Hon’ble Chairman Sir. The program was ended by vote of thanks given by President VERVE, Mr. Utkarsh Singh Srinet .
