The Zonal Sports Fest for the year 2022 was organised by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow in M.I.T Moradabad on 14th and 15th September, 2022.Students were much more enthusiastic for all the events in the fest and participated in them with excitement.
Students from all years and departments took part in various sports events with full zinc and zeal.Their spirit and performance in the respective games at Zonal Sports Fest was worth appreciable.They all were deeply inspired from within to play the competitive yet refreshing sports to relive the sportsmen spirit.
A series of sports events took place in these two days which included sports like
Athletics, Kabaddi, Chess, Shotput etc.
The winners of various events held at AKTU ZONAL SPORTS FEST 2022 were:
1) Nikita Gangwar(2021) won GOLD Medal in 200 mtr.Athletics.
2) RishabhPal(2019) won SILVER Medal in 100 mtr. Athletics.
3)Archana Mishra(2020) won SILVER Medal in Long Jump.
4) CharuJethwani(2020) and Priyanshi Agarwal(2021) won SILVER Medal in Chess.
5) ArchanaMishra(2020), Vinita Joshi(2020), Divya Singh(2020) and Harshita Singh(2021) won SILVER Medal in 4*100 mtr. Relay Athletics.
6) DivyanshSaxena(2019), Avneesh Kumar(2019), Abhishek Mishra(2020), Rahul Chaurasiya(2020), Vishal Singh(2020), AmanVerma(2020), Amil Khan(2020), Paramveer Singh(2020), UditSaxena(2020), Aditya Pradhan(2020), Ayush Mishra(2020) and Anuj(2021) won SILVER Medal in Kabaddi
7) Mohd. SartajRaza(2020) won BRONZE Medal in Shotput.
The two day event concluded with the prize and certificates distribution ceremony to all the winners within the college premises.
