15 August 1947 is a Red Letter Day in the History of India. SRMSCETR campus was filled with the aura of patriotism and celebration of Independence Day which took with great zeal.
The Trust Chairman Shri Dev Murti, Trust Secretary Shri Aditya Murti, Principal CETR DR Ritu Singh, Principal Nursing DR Shamshad Alam and Principal Law DR Mukut Bihari Lal Sharma were welcomed by MOC Ayushman and Prerna.
The program was attended by all the Faculties, Staff members, Members of Suvesh and students of Engineering, Nursing and Law.
Flag hoisting was done by Chairman Sir followed by National anthem which evoked the patriotic feeling further.
Principal SRMSCETR DR. Ritu Singh addressed the gathering emphasizing the conspicuousness of the day and how to make India a Global Power.
A cultural program including patriotic songs and poetry was done by students of Engineering, Nursing and Law.
Chairman Sir addresses the gathering with his powerful and impressive words which not only motivated the students but also made them aware of challenges ahead as they are future of the Country. He acknowledged and admired the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters because of which today we are an Independent Nation.
Function came to end by vote of thanks by Verve president Mr.Utkarsh Singh Srinet followed by sweet distribution.
