MATLAB&SIMULINK

A workshop titled “MATLAB & Simulink” was organized by Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering, Technology & Research, Bareilly on Saturday, October 6, 2018.The motive of this workshop was to provide hands on experience with MATLAB Software starting from elementary of programming to the end of circuit designing in Simulink. A total of 65 students from EC, EE and CS branch participated in the event. It was held in 3 sessions where the first and second sessions was undertaken by Mrs Shiva Jaiswal, Assistant Professor of Electronics & Communication Engineering Department, where basic mathematical operations, conditional statements, looping and concept of programming were delivered to the students. The third session was undertaken by Mr. Kamal Singh, Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering Department. He introduced the participants with Simulink, tools available in Simulink library browser, working and usage of the tools in simpower system as well as commonly used blocks.

The event that started at 8:15 am was summed up with the closing ceremony where the participation certificates were given to the participants by Dr Rajesh Tyagi, Academic Co-ordinator & Er. Shailesh Saxena, Dean Student Welfare.

The event serves as the culmination of “Connecting the basic studies done by the students and practically observing them by simulating them”. The participants involved in the workshop were very satisfied and the feedback received from the students was really encouraging.
