SRMS ALUMNI VISITED HIS ‘ALMA MATER’ & ENLIGHTENED BUDDING PROFESSIONALS TOWARDS FASCINATING CAREER

The Training, Development and Placement Cell at SRMS CET, Bareilly organized an Online Alumni Lecture on the topic ‘Atomic Qualities for Fascinating Career’ on January 19, 2023 at New Seminar Hall (for SRMS CET students) and Mini Auditorium (for SRMS CETR students), which was delivered by the Special Guest and Key Note Speaker, Vivek Singh, Alumnus B Tech (2000 Batch), a Sqaud Leader,Emerging Business Student Debt.
The objective of the lecture was to introduce the concepts of developing habits, which would help increase the probability of getting employed. The students of B Tech second year, and MCA first year participated to learn career abilities in future. The lecture aimed on four atomic habits, and the keynote speaker motivated and emphasized upon developing the reading habit and not to fear failure. He spoke in length about some key approaches needed to solve unstructured problems and be aligned to industry changing needs of skills. The event also included a session of question answer round between the speaker and the students, wherein he talked about his personal experiences and different fields of technology.
In his special address to students, SRMS alumni, Vivek Singh(https://www.linkedin.com/in/vivek-singh-b956499) said, “It’s always a delight and moment of pride to go back to alma mater where I started professional learning. I loved connecting to second year engineering students, and was amazed by some great questions by students around AI governance, AI scalability and adoption in day-to-day life and risk it poses to mundane jobs. One great moment was when a student asked about mental health and how to approach it.”
Adding further he quoted, “the world is brutal and the competition is real”, wherein he encouraged students to identify their capabilities and work with motivation and dedication. He also thanked the SRMS CET institution Bareilly and Dr Anuj Kumar(https://www.linkedin.com/in/dr-anuj-kumar-868a43127) for inviting him and arranging this conversation. He also expressed his gratitude towards Dr Prabhakar Gupta (https://www.linkedin.com/in/prabhakar-gupta-0143052a/) Dean Academics, SRMS CET, Dr LS Maurya (https://www.linkedin.com/in/dr-l-s-maurya-468959226) Principal, CETR and all faculty members for their presence and helping him in an active dialogue with students.
The guest lecture witnessed the benign presence of Dean academics Dr Prabhakar Gupta, Director TDP Cell, Dr Anuj Kumar along with HOD’s of various departments. At the end of the program, the event concluded with a vote of thanks given by Manisha Khandelwal.
