Merit Scholarships :<\/h2>

Late Shri Ram Murti Ji was a great source of inspiration for the students particularly those were
meritorious but economically weak. Therefore, the Trust decided to offer financial help to
economically weak but meritorious students from its inception. Initially such help was limited to
10+2 and undergraduate students (1990). Later on, such scholarship was extended to the students
pursuing professional, Technical and medical courses in institutions run by the Trust. The year
2007 was the turning point when the Trust decided to distribute Scholarships worth\u00a0RUPEES
3.5 CRORE\u00a0every year to meritorious students of institutions run by the Trust.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

THE ENGINEERING\/MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE HAS LAID DOWN THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP IN DIFFERENT CATEGORIES :<\/h2>

THE SRMS IMS HAS LAID DOWN THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP IN DIFFERENT CATEGORIES:<\/h2>

Category I :<\/strong><\/p>

  • Students securing 80% or more marks in aggregate in a professional examination will get a
    Scholarship worth 2,25,000\/- and a certificate of appreciation.<\/li><\/ul>


    Category II :<\/strong><\/p>

    • \u00a0Students securing between 75%-80% marks in aggregate in a professional examination will get a
      Scholarship worth 2,00,000\/- and a certificate of appreciation.<\/li><\/ul>


      Category III :<\/strong>
      Students securing less than 75% marks but 70% or more marks in aggregate in a professional
      examination get a scholarship as under.<\/p>

      • \u00a0Topper 1st Position in the Institute will get\u00a0\u00a01,25,000\/- &amp; certificate of appreciation<\/li>
      • \u00a02nd Position in the Institute will get\u00a0\u00a01,00,000\/- &amp; certificate of appreciation<\/li>
      • \u00a03rd Position in the Institute will get\u00a0\u00a050,000\/- &amp; certificate of appreciation<\/li>
      • \u00a0Any Position in the Institute will get\u00a0\u00a030,000\/- &amp; certificate of appreciation<\/li>
      • \u00a0For getting distinction in any subject a certificate shall be given.<\/li><\/ul>


        Category IV :<\/strong>
        Students securing between 65-70% marks in aggregate in a Professional Examination will get a
        scholarship as under:<\/p>

        • \u00a0Topper 1st Position in the Institute will get\u00a0\u00a020,000\/- &amp; certificate of appreciation<\/li>
        • 2nd Position in the Institute will get\u00a0\u00a010,000\/- &amp; certificate of appreciation<\/li>
        • 3rd Position in the Institute will get\u00a0\u00a07,000\/- &amp; certificate of appreciation<\/li>
        • For obtaining distinction in any subject, a certificate shall be given<\/li><\/ul>

          At the end of the MBBS Course, i.e. after completing the internship following Medals shall beawarded:<\/p>

          • Gold Medal \u2013 Overall Topper of the batch &amp; cash prize of Rs. 51,000\/-.<\/li>
          • Silver Medal \u2013 Overall 2nd position holder of the batch.<\/li>
          • Bronze Medal \u2013 Overall 3rd position holder of the batch.A Medal in recognition of merit shall also be awarded to the students whose overall attendance is90% or more in a Professional.<\/li><\/ul>

            Any student who has been punished with fine for violating any of college disciplines, except minor punishment fine or if he\/she passed in second or further attempt will not be entitled forany Scholarship. The Institute holds the right to change or amend the above policies through competent authority.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
