Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering Technology & Research (SRMS CETR) Bareilly <\/strong><\/a> commemorated World Environment Day<\/strong> with an engaging \u2018 Plantation Drive\u2019<\/strong> at its lush-green campus, symbolizing the institution\u2019s commitment to restoring & preserving the environment. Based on this year\u2019s theme, \u2018Land Restoration, Desertification & Drought Resilience,\u2019<\/strong> the drive aimed to raise awareness about crucial environmental issues like climate change, global warming, extreme weather conditions, imbalanced ecosystems etc.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

During the drive, , Dr LS Maurya, Principal SRMS CETR <\/strong><\/a> emphasized upon the urgent need to mitigate the ill-effects of environmental concerns, preserve the planet\u2019s health& encouraged students to adopt sustainable practices. Following this, faculty members & students of the college actively participated in the plantation activity, planted various saplings while enhancing the campuses\u2019 green cover. Overall, the plantation drive was a collaborative initiative, with enthusiastic involvement of students, faculties as well as staff, who successfully promoted environmental consciousness and community engagement, making environment day celebration a significant day to address environmental challenges, and contributing towards sustainable environmental practices.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
