Based on this year\u2019s theme, \u2018<strong>Land Restoration, Desertification &#038; Drought Resilience,\u2019<\/strong> the drive aimed to raise awareness about crucial environmental issues like climate change, global warming, extreme weather conditions, imbalanced ecosystems etc.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>During the drive, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/cetr\/faculty\/laxmi-shanker-maurya\/\"><strong style=\"color: blue;\">, Dr LS Maurya, Principal SRMS CETR <\/strong><\/a> emphasized upon the urgent need to mitigate the ill-effects of environmental concerns, preserve the planet\u2019s health&#038; encouraged students to adopt sustainable practices. Following this, faculty members &#038; students of the college actively participated in the plantation activity, planted various saplings while enhancing the campuses\u2019 green cover.
