{"id":19398,"date":"2024-11-26T08:50:00","date_gmt":"2024-11-26T03:20:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/cetr\/?p=19398"},"modified":"2024-11-26T08:50:00","modified_gmt":"2024-11-26T03:20:00","slug":"srms-trust-institutions-celebrate-world-habitat-day-with-sdg-11-themed-your-best-habitat-poster-making-competition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/cetr\/srms-trust-institutions-celebrate-world-habitat-day-with-sdg-11-themed-your-best-habitat-poster-making-competition\/","title":{"rendered":"SRMS TRUST INSTITUTIONS CELEBRATE WORLD HABITAT DAY WITH SDG-11 THEMED \u2018YOUR BEST HABITAT\u2019 POSTER MAKING COMPETITION"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In alignment with <strong>United Nation\u2019s Sustainable Development Goal 11 (SDG 11),<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/\"><strong style=\"color:blue;\">Shri Ram Murti Smarak (SRMS Trust) Institutions, Bareilly  <\/strong><\/a> marked <strong>World Habitat Day<\/strong> with \u2018<strong>Poster Making Competition\u2019<\/strong> on<strong>\u2018<\/strong> Your Best Habitat\u2019, which further embodied the spirit of unity &amp; responsibility towards environment.<br \/>\nOrganized by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/cet\/\"><strong style=\"color:blue;\">SRMS College of Engineering &#038; Technology (CET)  <\/strong><\/a>, the contest saw active participation of students from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/ims\/\"><strong style=\"color:blue;\">SRMS Trust Institutions\u2014Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS)<\/strong><\/a>; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/paramedical\/\"><strong style=\"color:blue;\">Institute of Paramedical Sciences (IPS)<\/strong><\/a>; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/nursing\/\"><strong style=\"color:blue;\">College of Nursing<\/strong><\/a>; CET; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/cetr\/\"><strong style=\"color:blue;\">College of Engineering, Technology &#038; Research (CETR). <\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The competition was a dynamic platform for students to creatively express the significance of adequate shelter, inclusive habitats &amp; sustainable urban development through impactful posters on \u2018habitat as a portrayal of a mother&#8217;s womb\u2019, \u2018importance of planting more trees\u2019, \u2018habitat as a representation of Earth\u2019 etc, highlighting innovative approaches to address these global challenges.<\/p>\n<p>Later, winners were felicitated, wherein, <strong>Priti Bajpai &amp; Fareh Hussain<\/strong> from <strong> CET<\/strong> clinched <strong>first &amp; second prize<\/strong> respectively, while <strong>Harsh Saxena <\/strong> from <strong>CETR<\/strong> stood <strong>third. <\/strong> The competition was adjudged by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/nursing\/faculty\/aneesh-chandran\/\"><strong style=\"color:blue;\">Professor Aneesh Chandran <\/strong><\/a>, Vice Principal, Nursing College <a href=\"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/cet\/product\/mr-ashwani-kumar-chauhan\/\"><strong style=\"color:blue;\">Ashwani Kumar Chauhan <\/strong><\/a>, Assistant Professor, ME Department, CET; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/cetr\/faculty\/arun-kumar-sahu\/\"><strong style=\"color:blue;\">Arun Kumar Sahu <\/strong><\/a>, Assistant Professor, CSE Department, CETR &amp; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/cet\/product\/ms-anubha-dhaka\/\"><strong style=\"color:blue;\">Anubha Dhaka <\/strong><\/a>, Assistant Professor, CSE Department, CET. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/cet\/product\/dr-shailendra-deva\/\"><strong style=\"color:blue;\">Dr Shailendra Deva <\/strong><\/a>, Vice Principal &amp; Dean Research, CET along with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/cet\/product\/dr-saurabh-gupta\/\"><strong style=\"color:blue;\">Dr Saurabh Gupta<\/strong><\/a>, DSW were also present.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/youtube.com\/embed\/4YHzOHPWe2Y\" width=\"100%\" height=\"400\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In alignment with United Nation\u2019s Sustainable Development Goal 11 (SDG 11), Shri Ram Murti Smarak (SRMS Trust) Institutions, Bareilly marked World Habitat Day with \u2018Poster Making Competition\u2019 on\u2018 Your Best Habitat\u2019, which further embodied the spirit of unity &amp; responsibility towards environment.
