SRMS College of Engineering, Technology & Research (CETR), Bareilly<\/strong><\/a> organized an online Webinar on \u2018MIC Programmes & Schemes\u2019 <\/strong> under the aegis of Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC)<\/strong> for B Tech students<\/strong>. The enlightening session was delivered by Guest Speaker DR ABHAY JERE<\/strong>, Vice Chairman, AICTE & Chief Innovation Officer, Ministry of Education, Government of India who gave comprehensive insights into innovative ecosystems & collaborative strategies for technological advancement.<\/p>\n

During the webinar, Dr Abhay Jere<\/strong> sensitized students on the evolving landscape of innovation & entrepreneurship & emphasized upon interdisciplinary approaches to problem-solving & market-ready solutions. He stressed the importance of creating robust collaborative networks beyond traditional academic boundaries. He also highlighted how educational institutions can serve as powerful catalysts for technological & social innovation, and address real-world challenges.<\/p>\n

Going further, Dr Jere spoke about YUKTI\u2014<\/strong> a National Innovation Repository (NIR), an initiative of Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India<\/strong> and AICTE <\/strong> to build a system of repository of ideas, innovations & startups being developed in academic institutions. He focused on key strategies for intellectual property development & funding opportunities with practical guidance on IP filing, mentorship programs & various support mechanisms for young innovators.<\/p>\n
