{"id":19711,"date":"2025-03-10T13:37:46","date_gmt":"2025-03-10T08:07:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/cetr\/?p=19711"},"modified":"2025-03-10T14:06:19","modified_gmt":"2025-03-10T08:36:19","slug":"srms-engineering-research-college-conducts-swachh-survey-programme-to-promote-civic-awareness-among-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/cetr\/srms-engineering-research-college-conducts-swachh-survey-programme-to-promote-civic-awareness-among-students\/","title":{"rendered":"SRMS ENGINEERING &#038; RESEARCH COLLEGE CONDUCTS \u2018SWACHH SURVEY\u2019 PROGRAMME TO PROMOTE CIVIC AWARENESS AMONG STUDENTS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/cetr\/\"><strong style=\"color:blue;\">SRMS College of Engineering, Technology &amp; Research (CETR), Bareilly<\/strong> <\/a>conducted \u2018 <strong>Swachh Survey Programme\u2019 <\/strong> with an aim to educate and sensitize students about cleanliness assessment methodologies, citizen participation in government surveys &amp; their implementation across urban areas.<\/p>\n<p>Organized in association with <strong>Government of India<\/strong> and represented by an authorized IIC team from <strong>Nagar Nigam Bareilly<\/strong>, the event saw active participation of students from various <a href=\"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/\"><strong style=\"color:blue;\">SRMS Trust Institutions<\/strong><\/a> including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/cetr\/\"><strong style=\"color:blue;\">SRMS  CETR,<\/strong><\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/cet\/\"><strong style=\"color:blue;\">SRMS College of Engineering &amp; Technology (CET)<\/strong>,<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/nursing\/\"><strong style=\"color:blue;\">SRMS College of Nursing,<\/strong><\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/ims\/\"><strong style=\"color:blue;\">SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS)<\/a><\/strong>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/paramedical\/\"><strong style=\"color:blue;\">SRMS Institute of Paramedical Sciences (IPS)<\/strong>,<\/a> Bareilly.<\/p>\n<p>The programme began with welcoming of city\u2019s Nagar Nigam\u2019s team (IIC) by <strong>Syyeda Aamna<\/strong>, Secretary of Verve club and <strong>Shikhar Agarwal<\/strong>, Vice President of Verve Club. Further, Nagar Nigam team gave a comprehensive presentation on survey methodology, explained its objectives, implementation process, detailed instructions on effective conduct of survey, importance of accurate data collection and citizen feedback in shaping cleanliness policies. However, the social and civic centric-program concluded with clarification of doubts by participants, wherein, they understood the mechanics and role of government surveys in national cleanliness campaigns.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/cet\/product\/prof-dr-prabhakar-gupta\/\"> <strong style=\"color:blue;\">Dr Prabhakar Gupta<\/strong><\/a>, Principal CET; <strong style=\"color:blue;\">Dr Shailesh Saxena<\/strong>,Dean Academics, CETR; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/cetr\/faculty\/krishan-kumar-agarwal\/\"><strong style=\"color:blue;\">Dr KK Agarwal<\/strong><\/a>, DSW &amp;
