The Department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)<\/strong> <\/a> and Value Additional Cell<\/strong> at SRMS College of Engineering, Technology & Research (CETR), Bareilly<\/strong> <\/a>, under the supervision of the Institution Innovation Council (IIC)<\/strong> recently organised a two-day workshop <\/strong> on \u2018Android App Development\u2019<\/strong>, led by Pramod Kumar<\/strong>, Assistant Professor, CSE Department, CETR, who provided B Tech third-year students<\/strong> with hands-on experience in Android Application Development.<\/p>\n

During the session, Pramod Kumar<\/strong> introduced students to several key topics, including Android Studio, fundamentals of Android development environment, and essential tools and techniques for building functional mobile applications. He also provided a comprehensive overview of Firebase, explaining its various features and capabilities as a backend platform. He demonstrated the process of creating a basic project on Firebase & integrating it with Android applications, highlighting real-time database management, authentication systems & cloud storage facilities available through Firebase.<\/p>\n

The workshop concluded with a doubt-clearing session, where students actively engaged in working on basic application development projects, while applying the practical knowledge and industry-relevant skills gained during the session. The event was graced by Dr Shailesh Saxena<\/strong> <\/a>, Dean Academics; Er KK Agarwal<\/strong> <\/a>; DSW; Dr Manvi Mishra<\/strong> <\/a>, Head, CSE Department & several others.<\/p>\n
