In a dynamic display of creativity, problem-solving & innovation, HACKATHON 3.0\u2014<\/strong> a 36-hour innovation marathon<\/strong> (March 27-29, 2025) kicks off with great enthusiasm at SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Bareilly<\/strong><\/a> under the mentorship of the Institution\u2019s Innovation Council and Tech Edge Cell<\/strong>. The event, focused on theme \u2018Sustainable and Circular Solutions for Disaster Management\u2019,<\/strong> brought together 46 teams<\/strong> from several educational institutions across India, who will battle it out for cash prizes worth \u20b91 Lakh<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Hackathon 3.0 began with an enriching expert talk delivered by a renowned entrepreneur, Neeraj Kumar Choudhary<\/strong>, Founder of Shri Bansi Gau Dham LLP, who shared insights on business strategies, sustainable development, and innovation-driven practices. His dedication to sustainable innovation through cow-dung based products inspired students to embrace environmentally conscious solutions and think creatively about transforming traditional methods into modern practices.<\/p>\n

However, 46 teams participating across India includes SRMS CET, Bareilly; SRMS CETR, Bareilly; MIT, Moradabad; CMR CET, Hyderabad; NPR College of Engineering & Technology, Tamil Nadu; Rathinam Technical Campus, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu; KIT, Kanpur; RMD Engineering College, Chennai; Bansal IET, Lucknow; Gyan Ganga College of Technology, Jabalpur; AIMT, Lucknow; IPS Academy, Indore; and <\/strong> Rakshpal Bahadur College of Engineering & Technology, Bareilly. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the event was inaugurated by Shri Dev Murti<\/strong><\/a>, Chairman, SRMS Trust, in the presence of Er Subhash Mehra<\/strong>, Trust Advisor; Dr Prabhakar Gupta<\/strong><\/a>, Principal, CET; Dr MS Butola<\/strong><\/a>, Principal, SRMS IMS; Dr Shailesh Saxena<\/strong><\/a>, Dean Academics, SRMS CETR; Dr Shailendra Deva<\/strong><\/a>, Vice Principal, CET etc. The hackathon further continued with brainstorming sessions, prototype development, and creative problem-solving.
