{"id":20240,"date":"2025-08-23T16:11:12","date_gmt":"2025-08-23T10:41:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/cetr\/?p=20240"},"modified":"2025-08-23T16:11:12","modified_gmt":"2025-08-23T10:41:12","slug":"srms-engineering-students-dive-into-real-world-machine-learning-at-immersive-workshop","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/cetr\/srms-engineering-students-dive-into-real-world-machine-learning-at-immersive-workshop\/","title":{"rendered":"SRMS ENGINEERING STUDENTS DIVE INTO REAL-WORLD MACHINE LEARNING AT IMMERSIVE WORKSHOP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Unlocking the potential of future-ready tech skills, <strong>SRMS College of Engineering &amp; Technology (CET), Bareilly <\/strong>recently hosted a dynamic, week-long hands-on workshop titled <strong>\u2018Machine Learning with Real-Life Applications.\u2019 <\/strong>Organized under the banner of the <strong>Institution\u2019s Innovation Council (IIC),<\/strong>\u00a0the workshop drew participation from around <strong>50 third-year B Tech students<\/strong>\u00a0(CS\/IT streams) from <strong>SRMS CET<\/strong>\u00a0and <strong>SRMS College of Engineering, Technology &amp; Research (CETR).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Led by <strong>Brijesh Mishra<\/strong>, an expert trainer from <strong>Softpro Computer Technologies, Lucknow<\/strong>, the sessions offered students practical exposure to key machine learning concepts\u2014including Supervised and Unsupervised Learning, Support Vector Machines, and Linear\/Nonlinear Regression. Complex algorithms were demystified through real-life case studies and interactive demos.<\/p>\n<p>With its strong focus on application-based learning, the workshop encouraged students to move beyond theoretical understanding to hands-on implementation.
