The Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering, Technology & Research (SRMS CETR), Bareilly in collaboration with the Value Addition Cell and under the supervision of IIC- SRMS CET & R, organized an Alumni Dialogue Session under the Hand Holding Initiative titled \u201cWhere Aspirations Turn into Achievements\u201d on 7th March, 2026 in the Mini auditorium from 11 AM onwards. The session was conducted under the Hand-Holding Initiative with the objective of providing guidance, mentorship, and valuable career insights to B.Tech students through interaction with distinguished alumni.<\/p>\n

The program began with the ceremonial lamp-lighting by the dignitaries, symbolizing the spread of knowledge, followed by Saraswati Vandana by the college choir. The session was graced by the dignitaries including Er. Subhash Mehra (Trust Advisor); Dr. Shailesh Saxena (Dean Academics, SRMS CET & R); DSW, HODs, along with other respected faculty members who motivated students to actively participate in such academic and professional development initiatives.<\/p>\n

The session featured inspiring talks by alumni speakers. Mr. Sharad Gangwar from the 2019 Batch, working as a Digital Specialist Engineer in Infosys, Chandigarh, India, shared his professional journey and highlighted the importance of technical skills, continuous learning, and gaining practical experience through internships and industry exposure. His insights helped students understand the expectations of the modern IT industry.<\/p>\n

Another distinguished alumna, Ms. Shivangi Goel from the 2014 Batch, Founder of NGO \u201cSoch \u2013 Ant Hi Aarambh\u201d, shared her inspiring journey to dedicate herself to social service. Through her NGO, she is working to uplift underprivileged children by providing quality education, digital literacy, and academic support to students studying in government schools. She encouraged students to believe in their ideas, stay confident, and work persistently towards achieving their goals. Her motivational words inspired students to think creatively and explore opportunities beyond traditional career paths.<\/p>\n

The session was highly interactive as students actively engaged with the speakers by asking questions related to career development, industry requirements, and personal growth. The alumni provided practical advice and valuable suggestions that will help students plan their future careers effectively.
\nThe program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Vidhi, President of the Verve Club, who expressed sincere gratitude to the alumni speakers, dignitaries, faculty members, and students for their presence and contribution in making the session informative and successful. The event proved to be highly inspiring and beneficial for all the participants.<\/p>\n
