WAVES FOR A BETTER TOMORROW: SRMS ENGINEERING COLLEGE SPARKS CREATIVITY ON WORLD OCEAN DAY"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In a unique tribute to <strong><em>World Ocean Day<\/em><\/strong>, <strong>SRMS College of Engineering &amp; Technology (CET), Bareilly<\/strong> turned awareness into action with an innovative <strong>PowerPoint Design Contest<\/strong> focused on ocean conservation.<\/p>\n<p>Rooted in the <strong>United Nations\u2019 Sustainable Development Goal 14<\/strong>: <strong><em>Life Below Water<\/em><\/strong>, the contest embraced the theme <strong><em>\u201cOur Ocean: Challenges and Solutions\u201d<\/em><\/strong> to inspire students to think critically and creatively about the pressing threats facing our oceans\u2014ranging from pollution and overfishing to climate change and ecosystem loss.<\/p>\n<p>Students from various <strong>SRMS Institutions<\/strong> including <strong>SRMS CET, SRMS College of Engineering Technology &amp; Research (CETR), SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences,<\/strong> and<strong> SRMS College of Nursing<\/strong> dived deep into research, designing compelling presentations that combined impactful visuals, ocean-inspired design elements, and practical, data-backed solutions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Akhil Saxena &amp; Manas Dam (CET)<\/strong> secured the <strong>first<\/strong> prize, followed by <strong>Sonar Prathmesh &amp; Stuti Pant (IMS) <\/strong>and <strong>Sindhuja Trivedi &amp; Monika Singh (Nursing)<\/strong> at <strong>second<\/strong> and <strong>third<\/strong> positions respectively. <strong>Dr Prabhakar Gupta,<\/strong> Principal CET, felicitated the winners, commending their efforts in blending creativity with conservation, in the presence of<strong> Dr Saurabh
