{"id":26033,"date":"2026-04-30T14:50:30","date_gmt":"2026-04-30T09:20:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/cetr\/?p=26033"},"modified":"2026-04-30T14:50:30","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T09:20:30","slug":"young-voices-bold-ideas-srms-trust-students-debate-failure-entrepreneurship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/cetr\/young-voices-bold-ideas-srms-trust-students-debate-failure-entrepreneurship\/","title":{"rendered":"YOUNG VOICES, BOLD IDEAS: SRMS TRUST STUDENTS DEBATE FAILURE &#038; ENTREPRENEURSHIP!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>Department of Computer Science &amp; Engineering (CSE)<\/strong> at <strong>SRMS College of Engineering, Technology &amp; Research (CETR), Bareilly<\/strong>, in association with the <strong>Institution Innovation Council (IIC),<\/strong> hosted a <strong>Trust-level Elocution Competition<\/strong> on the thought-provoking topic <strong><em>\u201cIs Failure Essential for Entrepreneurial Growth?\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Students from <strong>SRMS CETR<\/strong>, <strong>SRMS College of Engineering &amp; Technology (CET),<\/strong> <strong>SRMS College of Nursing,<\/strong> and <strong>SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS)<\/strong> showcased their brilliance, presenting powerful arguments <em>for and against<\/em> the motion with their fearless voices and fresh ideas. From emphasizing failure as a stepping stone to success, to stressing the role of strategy in avoiding it, the competition was a masterclass in confidence, clarity, and conviction. In the <strong>\u2018For the Motion\u2019<\/strong> category, <strong>MBA (CET)<\/strong> secured 1st place, <strong>IMS 2nd,<\/strong> and <strong>Nursing 3rd<\/strong>, while in the \u2018<strong>Against the Motion\u2019<\/strong> category, <strong>IMS bagged 1st place<\/strong> and <strong>CET claimed both 2nd &amp; 3rd positions<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The event concluded with winners being felicitated by <strong>Dr Shailesh Saxena<\/strong>, Dean Academics, in the presence of <strong>KK Agarwal<\/strong>, DSW, and other dignitaries.
