{"id":26668,"date":"2026-05-02T09:09:25","date_gmt":"2026-05-02T03:39:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/cetr\/?p=26668"},"modified":"2026-05-02T09:09:25","modified_gmt":"2026-05-02T03:39:25","slug":"srms-college-of-engineering-technology-researchs-hands-on-python-workshop-gives-b-tech-students-a-real-coding-edge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/cetr\/srms-college-of-engineering-technology-researchs-hands-on-python-workshop-gives-b-tech-students-a-real-coding-edge\/","title":{"rendered":"SRMS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY &#038; RESEARCH\u2019s HANDS-ON PYTHON WORKSHOP GIVES B TECH STUDENTS A REAL CODING EDGE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of Computer Science &amp; Engineering at <strong>SRMS College of Engineering, Technology &amp; Research (SRMS CET&amp;R)<\/strong>, along with the <strong>Value Addition Cell<\/strong> and <strong>IIC\u2013SRMS CET&amp;R<\/strong>, recently wrapped up an intensive <strong>one-week (28-hour) hands-on workshop <\/strong>on<strong> \u201cPython Programming Fundamentals &amp; Applications\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Conducted every morning in the<strong> BCA Lab<\/strong>, the workshop was exclusively planned for <strong>B Tech 2nd-year students<\/strong>, giving them a strong, practice-based foundation in one of today\u2019s most in-demand programming languages. The sessions were led by <strong>Neeraj Katheriya<\/strong>, an expert trainer from <strong>Tech Vision Technologies, Bareilly<\/strong>, who began by breaking down Python basics and gradually moved students toward applying these concepts through real-time practice programs.<\/p>\n<p>The final day turned into a mini-tech fest of its own, where students worked on mini-projects and a concept quiz, bringing together everything they had learned. From automation scripts to small apps and data processing programs, the projects showcased creativity, logic, and a growing confidence in coding. Each team presented their work and received valuable feedback to sharpen their approach further. However, the workshop concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony graced by <strong>Ambrish Gupta<\/strong> and <strong>Ritu Gupta<\/strong> from Tech Vision Technologies; <strong>Dr Shailesh Saxena<\/strong> (Dean Academics, SRMS CET&amp;R<strong>);
