{"id":26806,"date":"2026-05-02T11:07:25","date_gmt":"2026-05-02T05:37:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/cetr\/?p=26806"},"modified":"2026-05-02T11:07:25","modified_gmt":"2026-05-02T05:37:25","slug":"spardha-2026-sets-the-srms-engineering-research-college-campus-alive-with-sporting-excellence","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/cetr\/spardha-2026-sets-the-srms-engineering-research-college-campus-alive-with-sporting-excellence\/","title":{"rendered":"SPARDHA 2026 SETS THE SRMS ENGINEERING &#038; RESEARCH COLLEGE CAMPUS ALIVE WITH SPORTING EXCELLENCE\u2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering, Technology &amp; Research (CET&amp;R),<\/strong> Bareilly successfully hosted its high-energy <strong>4-day Annual Sports Fest \u2018SPARDHA 2026\u2019<\/strong> in association with the <strong>Verve Club<\/strong>, celebrating fitness, teamwork and the true spirit of sportsmanship.<\/p>\n<p>The fest brought together enthusiastic students from <strong>SRMS CET&amp;R and SRMS College of Nursing<\/strong>, featuring an exciting blend of indoor and outdoor events including <strong>100m Race, Athletics, Long Jump, Discus Throw, Javelin Throw, Shot Put, Basketball, Kabaddi, Volleyball, Mixed Cricket, Kho-Kho, Chess, Carrom, Badminton, and Table Tennis<\/strong>, keeping the campus buzzing with action throughout the week.<\/p>\n<p>SPARDHA 2026 was inaugurated by <strong>Er Subhash Mehra (Trust Advisor)<\/strong> with the ceremonial volleyball toss and was graced by <strong>Dr Muthu Maheshwari (Principal, SRMS College of Nursing)<\/strong>, <strong>Dr Shailesh Saxena (Dean Academics, SRMS CET&amp;R)<\/strong>, DSWs, HODs, faculty members and students, who encouraged participants to uphold fair play and unity.<\/p>\n<p>The week witnessed stellar performances across team and individual events, with students from both institutions securing top honours. The fest concluded with a vibrant <strong>prize distribution ceremony<\/strong>, where winners and runners-up were awarded medals and certificates. <strong>Devaansh Mehra<\/strong> and <strong>Diva Deopa<\/strong> (SRMS CET&amp;R) were felicitated with <strong>special trophies<\/strong> for winning the maximum amount of Gold Medals.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sports Week Highlights: Winners List<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The spirited week of competitions witnessed enthusiastic participation and remarkable performances across various games.
