{"id":26911,"date":"2026-05-02T11:50:48","date_gmt":"2026-05-02T06:20:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/cetr\/?p=26911"},"modified":"2026-05-02T11:50:48","modified_gmt":"2026-05-02T06:20:48","slug":"learning-to-hack-for-good-srms-computer-science-students-explore-the-power-of-ethical-cybersecurity-at-ethical-hacking-bootcamp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/cetr\/learning-to-hack-for-good-srms-computer-science-students-explore-the-power-of-ethical-cybersecurity-at-ethical-hacking-bootcamp\/","title":{"rendered":"LEARNING TO HACK FOR GOOD: SRMS COMPUTER SCIENCE STUDENTS EXPLORE THE POWER OF ETHICAL CYBERSECURITY at ETHICAL HACKING BOOTCAMP!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>Department of Computer Science and Engineering <\/strong>at<strong> SRMS College of Engineering, Technology and Research (CET&amp;R), Bareilly<\/strong> in collaboration with the <strong>Value Addition Cell<\/strong> and under the supervision of<strong> IIC-SRMS CET&amp;R<\/strong>, successfully organized a 3-day hands on bootcamp titled <strong>\u201cETHICAL HACKING\u2014HACK TO PROTECT\u201d <\/strong>for the students of B Tech 3<sup>rd<\/sup> year.<\/p>\n<p>The bootcamp, led by <strong>Harshit Yadav<\/strong>, Assistant Professor, CSE Department at SRMS CET&amp;R, in the presence of <strong>Dr Shailesh Saxena<\/strong>, Dean Academics, CET&amp;R, focused on enhancing practical skills and understanding through live demonstrations. Students gained hands-on exposure to ethical hacking setups, advanced <strong>Google Dorking techniques<\/strong>, and responsible information gathering methods.
