{"id":26920,"date":"2026-05-02T11:55:27","date_gmt":"2026-05-02T06:25:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/cetr\/?p=26920"},"modified":"2026-05-02T11:55:27","modified_gmt":"2026-05-02T06:25:27","slug":"curiosity-to-creation-srms-engineering-research-college-celebrates-the-spirit-of-science","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/cetr\/curiosity-to-creation-srms-engineering-research-college-celebrates-the-spirit-of-science\/","title":{"rendered":"CURIOSITY TO CREATION: SRMS ENGINEERING &#038; RESEARCH COLLEGE CELEBRATES THE SPIRIT OF SCIENCE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Ideas sparked, minds ignited, and curiosity set in motion\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n<p>On the occasion of <strong>National Science Day<\/strong>, the <strong>Department of Computer Science &amp; Engineering<\/strong> at <strong>SRMS College of Engineering, Technology &amp; Research (CET&amp;R)<\/strong>, Bareilly in collaboration with the <strong>Value Addition Cell<\/strong> and under the guidance of <strong>Institution\u2019s Innovation Council<\/strong>, hosted an engaging research-oriented webinar titled <strong>\u201cCelebrating the Spirit of Science\u201d <\/strong>for <strong>B Tech<\/strong> (all years) and <strong>BCA<\/strong> (First Year) students.<\/p>\n<p>The session brought together inspiring voices from academia and industry including <strong>Dr Sarita Khandka <\/strong>(HOD, Physics Department, Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences); <strong>Dr Akash Singh <\/strong>(Assistant Professor at DU), and <strong>Harsh Mishra <\/strong>(Member of Technical staff at Salesforce), who shared powerful insights on <strong>scientific research, Artificial Intelligence, and cutting-edge technological advancements<\/strong> shaping our world today. From understanding how <strong>Physics and AI solve real-world challenges<\/strong> to encouraging students to think like innovators and researchers, the session sparked meaningful conversations and fresh perspectives among young minds.<\/p>\n<p>With a ceremonial lamp-lighting, soulful Saraswati Vandana, and inspiring discussions, the event truly celebrated the power of science to question, explore, and transform the future. <strong>Er Subhash Mehra<\/strong> (Trust Advisor); <strong>Dr Shailesh Saxena<\/strong> (Dean Academics, CETR) &amp; HODs along with other respected faculty members were spotted at the celebration.
