{"id":4118,"date":"2019-10-15T13:47:32","date_gmt":"2019-10-15T08:17:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/cetr\/?p=4118"},"modified":"2019-10-15T13:53:03","modified_gmt":"2019-10-15T08:23:03","slug":"srmscetr-soft-marathon-tech-fest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/cetr\/srmscetr-soft-marathon-tech-fest\/","title":{"rendered":"SRMSCET&#038;R  SOFT MARATHON TECH FEST"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SRMS CET&#038;R is going to host SOFT MARATHON TECH FEST<\/p>\n<h4>How to Register<\/h4>\n<ul  class=\"x-ul-icons\" ><li  class=\"x-li-icon\" ><i class=\" x-icon-arrow-right\"><\/i>Individual Participation in each Event<\/li> <li  class=\"x-li-icon\" ><i class=\" x-icon-arrow-right\"><\/i>Students can participate in maximum 3 Events<\/li> <li  class=\"x-li-icon\" ><i class=\" x-icon-arrow-right\"><\/i>Participation Certificate to all Participants<\/li> <li  class=\"x-li-icon\" ><i class=\" x-icon-arrow-right\"><\/i>Participants may register by filling online registration form available on college website and submit their regsitration fees in cash on or before 16th October 2019<\/li><\/ul>\n<h4>Registration Fees<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Rs 20\/- @ 1 Event<br \/>\nRs. 50\/- @3 Events <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>Rule Book<\/h4>\n<h5>COMMON RULES<\/h5>\n<ul  class=\"x-ul-icons\" ><li  class=\"x-li-icon\" ><i class=\" x-icon-arrow-right\"><\/i>Participants have to bring their college id and one passport sized photograph.<\/li><li  class=\"x-li-icon\" ><i class=\" x-icon-arrow-right\"><\/i> Each event is individual event and a student can participate in maximum three events.<\/li><li  class=\"x-li-icon\" ><i class=\" x-icon-arrow-right\"><\/i> The decision by the judges will be final for all the events.<\/li><li  class=\"x-li-icon\" ><i class=\" x-icon-arrow-right\"><\/i> In case of shortage of time the registration for any event will be done on first come first serve basis.<\/li><li  class=\"x-li-icon\" ><i class=\" x-icon-arrow-right\"><\/i> Rules may change on the spot as per the circumstances.<\/li><li  class=\"x-li-icon\" ><i class=\" x-icon-arrow-right\"><\/i> Registration fee is 20 per participant per events. If the students participate in all three events, then charges will be rupees 50 per students.<\/li> <li  class=\"x-li-icon\" ><i class=\" x-icon-arrow-right\"><\/i> Laptops are not allowed.<\/li><\/ul>\n<h4>EVENTS<\/h4>\n<h5>CODESENSE (C\/C++\/Java\/Python)<br \/> Time: 9.30 AM &#8211; 11.00 AM<\/h5>\n<ul  class=\"x-ul-icons\" ><li  class=\"x-li-icon\" ><i class=\" x-icon-arrow-right\"><\/i>For all students<\/li> <li  class=\"x-li-icon\" ><i class=\" x-icon-arrow-right\"><\/i> There will be only one round of coding.<\/li> <li  class=\"x-li-icon\" ><i class=\" x-icon-arrow-right\"><\/i> Tools provided will be TurboC7, NetBeans 8.2, JDK 8.0, Python 3 and PyCharm<\/li> <li  class=\"x-li-icon\" ><i class=\" x-icon-arrow-right\"><\/i> Time limit is 1 Hr for attempting the question. Remaining half an hour is for judgement.<\/li><li  class=\"x-li-icon\" ><i class=\" x-icon-arrow-right\"><\/i> You have to select any one language to attempt all questions before the event starts. for eg. You select C++, then you have to do all questions in C++ only.<\/li> <li  class=\"x-li-icon\" ><i class=\" x-icon-arrow-right\"><\/i>No internet connection will be provided.<\/li><\/ul>\n<h5>FB-HUNT<br \/> Time: 11:30 AM \u2013 12:30 PM<\/h5>\n<ul  class=\"x-ul-icons\" ><li  class=\"x-li-icon\" ><i class=\" x-icon-arrow-right\"><\/i>Time limit will be 1 Hr.<\/li><li  class=\"x-li-icon\" ><i class=\" x-icon-arrow-right\"><\/i> Themes will be disclosed on the spot.<\/li><li  class=\"x-li-icon\" ><i class=\" x-icon-arrow-right\"><\/i> Participants have to create one facebook page on the basis of the title.<\/li><li  class=\"x-li-icon\" ><i class=\" x-icon-arrow-right\"><\/i> After event completion 2 hrs will be provided for likes.<\/li> <li  class=\"x-li-icon\" ><i class=\" x-icon-arrow-right\"><\/i>Participants having maximum likes on his\/her page will be considered as winner.<\/li><\/ul>\n<h5>TECH BUZZ<br \/> Time: 11:30 AM \u2013 1:00 PM<\/h5>\n<ul  class=\"x-ul-icons\" ><li  class=\"x-li-icon\" ><i class=\" x-icon-arrow-right\"><\/i>There will be two rounds for this event.
