The UDAAN Freshers event for the new Batch of 2020 at SRMSCET&R was held on January 09, 2021 with full of Passion and Zeal. As a trend of SRMS, the event began with the SRMS Trust Chairman Shri Dev Murti ji and Secretary Shri Aditya Murti ji invoking the blessings of God with a lamp lighting ceremony and the college choir singing Saraswati Vandana and Sansthaan Geet in the Inaugural Ceremony. Ganesh Vandana was then performed. The noted dignitaries who were presents are Dean Academics, Prof. (Dr.) Prabhakar Gupta, DSW Dr. Avijit Bhowmick, Head TDP and MCA Prof. (Dr). Anuj Kumar, HOD Basic Science SRMSCETR Prof.(Dr). Ritu Singh , Chief Proctor, Dr. Rajiv Pandey, Class In Charge and faculty members of all departments.<\/p>\n

Shri Dev Murti ji and Shri Aditya Murti ji spoke words of inspiration and guided the new batches to march ahead for new journey with Discipline, honesty and integrity and Also Chairman Shri Dev Murtiji spoke about cocoon which signified the stage of development of butterfly from nadir to zenith level, In thesame manner students must look forward to achieve every success in their life. The Inaugural ceremony gave a prelude to the panorama of events decided for the party. Pulsating ambiance, flashing lights, and foot-tapping music set the mood of the party right. The excitement augmented to a joyful high as performances graced the stage. Joy and happiness could be seen among students.<\/p>\n

First and second-year students of Computer Science Engineering, branch gave unforgettable performances, followed by Flute Performance and a Skit. They together welcomed the new bies introducing the culture of SRMS to them. Next up was Mock Rock, a group dance by first-year Engineering students, followed by an amazing performance with a solo, duet, poetry recital, and group and solo dances by fresher\u2019s of CSE. Drama highlighting the theme of Online Teaching Mode was the main attraction of the party. The entire audience was exhilarated by all the performances and enjoyed to the optimum. Adding more excitement to the celebrations, non-participants also gave performances that entertained the audience.<\/p>\n

To add on more, the dance floor was left open for some uninhibited energy and freshers interweave with each other on this wonderful occasion. The Fresher Party 2020 ended with the Vote of thanks by VERVE secretary Mr. Aniket Sharma.<\/p>\n
