\u201cWALK INTO YOUR FUTURE\u201d- A talk by alumni at SRMS CET&R Campus took place on 23rd February at CS Seminar Hall from 10:30 A.M.
\nThe guest of honour was Er. Sunil Dixit (2003-2007 Batch) who is currently a Lead Engineer of Microsoft in Seattle, USA.All Computer Science & EngineeringB.Tech students of SRMS CET and CETR attended the program. Dean Academics SRMS CETDr. Prabhakar Gupta and various heads of departments were also present.
\nMOC was done by Ms.Neha Sharma.Welcoming and brief address to guest was givenby Dean Academics, Er. Ankur Kumar And Director TDP Cell, Dr. Anuj Kumar.
\nThe chief guest, Sunil Dixit, then, gave the key note and showed guiding pathway to students, by telling the mistakes one should avoid, by his IT industry and corporate life experience of 15 years.
\nHe insisted all to strongly focus on demanding subjects such as Data Structures &Algorithms(DSA), Operating System(OS) and Design and Analysis of Algorithms(DAA).
\nTo him- \u201cSuccess is to achieve what you desire\u201d.He also insisted the students to enjoy the phase of life they are currently in, as the phase is really very precious.He also told his roadmap to being into Microsoft, his college life experiences and the support he got from his mentors in letting him thinking and doing something out of the box.
\nAfter his note, an interactive Questions and Answers session took place wherein students\u2019 queries related to their academics and personal life issues were resolved by him.He asked students to enjoy coding at this phase of their life and make a habit to code daily and regularly besides improving their Aptitude and English communication skills as well and rest getting their dream job will become quite easier for them.
\nHe also guided students about the mindset one should possess while doing a startup as he also have one, which was very much appreciated and recognised by Microsoft, As a result of which he got hired by it full time.His whole journey felt very inspiring to students and a ton of things are there in him, which anyone adopts, can become a very successful human being in life.
\nThe program concluded by presenting the Momento and College Diary to the chief guest by Dean Academics, Er. Ankur Kumar and Prof. L.S. Maurya.Lastly, the Vote of Thanks was given by Dr.Jyotirmay Patel.
