The Department of CSE, ECE & Basic Science at Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering, Technology & Research (CETR)<\/strong> in association with The Institution of Engineers (INDIA), Bareilly Local Center recently organized a two-day 6th<\/sup> National Conference NATCOM on \u2018Recent & Emerging Trends in Artificial Intelligence & Chat GPT\u2019 (AICGPT-2023).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event began with ceremonial lamp lighting by Shri Dev Murti, <\/strong>Chairman SRMS Trust & welcoming the guests, Er Raj Goel,<\/strong> Chairman IEI, & Er Pradeep Madhawar, <\/strong>Secretary IEI Bareilly Local Center in the presence of Er Subhash Mehra, <\/strong>Trust Advisor; Dr LS Maurya, <\/strong>Principal CETR & Conference Director; Er Suresh Sundrani, <\/strong>Member, BOG, SRMS Trust & Dr Prabhakar Gupta, <\/strong>Dean Academics, SRMS CET.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The session kicked-off with welcome address by Dr LS Maurya, followed by introducing of NATCOM theme & significance by Er Raj Goel. Shri Dev Murti urged participants to plan similar conferences in future too. During the engaging conference, total 38 research papers were presented in 3 technical sessions, chaired by Dr Hemant Yadav,<\/strong> Director FIET; Er Sudhir Gupta, <\/strong>Ex-Chairman IEI, Bareilly Local Centre & Er KB Agarwal,<\/strong> Member IEI addressing on \u2018Ethical & Responsible AI\u2019. Two expert sessions were also delivered by Dr Shikhar Agarwal,<\/strong> SR, Department of General Surgery & Dr Prakhar Bhatt, <\/strong>SR, ENT Department at SRMSIMS, on \u2018Robot Surgery in Healthcare\u2019 & \u2018Cochlear Implant: The Artificial Ear\u2019 respectively. Later, Professor Dr SS Bedi <\/strong>from Department of CS & IT, MJP Rohilkhand University, Bareilly discussed wider aspects of AI & Chat GPT trends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event concluded with valedictory session & prize distribution wherein Dr Ashutosh Pandey,<\/strong> Assistant Professor, Basic Science (CET) & BTech (CS) final year students (CETR)\u2014Brij Mohan Joshi<\/strong> & Harsh Vardhan Saxena <\/strong>received \u2018Best Paper Award\u2019 in faculty and students category respectively.
The conference was well convened by Er Manvi Mishra, Head, CS Dept & Er KK Agarwal, Head, Dept of Basic Science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
