{"id":7260,"date":"2023-10-03T13:16:33","date_gmt":"2023-10-03T07:46:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/cetr\/?p=7260"},"modified":"2023-10-03T16:03:12","modified_gmt":"2023-10-03T10:33:12","slug":"shri-ram-murti-smarak-engineering-research-college-hosts-nationalconference-on-cutting-edge-ai-trends-with-chat-gpt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.srms.ac.in\/cetr\/shri-ram-murti-smarak-engineering-research-college-hosts-nationalconference-on-cutting-edge-ai-trends-with-chat-gpt\/","title":{"rendered":"SHRI RAM MURTI SMARAK ENGINEERING &#038; RESEARCH COLLEGE HOSTS NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON CUTTING-EDGE AI TRENDS WITH CHAT GPT!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Department of CSE, ECE &amp; Basic Science at <strong>Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering, Technology &amp; Research (CETR)<\/strong> in association with The Institution of Engineers (INDIA), Bareilly Local Center recently organized a two-day <strong>6<sup>th<\/sup> National Conference NATCOM on \u2018Recent &amp; Emerging Trends in Artificial Intelligence &amp; Chat GPT\u2019 (AICGPT-2023).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event began with ceremonial lamp lighting by <strong>Shri Dev Murti, <\/strong>Chairman SRMS Trust &amp; welcoming the guests, <strong>Er Raj Goel,<\/strong> Chairman IEI, &amp; <strong>Er Pradeep Madhawar, <\/strong>Secretary IEI Bareilly Local Center in the presence of<strong> Er Subhash Mehra, <\/strong>Trust Advisor;<strong> Dr LS Maurya, <\/strong>Principal CETR &amp; Conference Director; <strong>Er Suresh Sundrani, <\/strong>Member, BOG, SRMS Trust &amp; <strong>Dr Prabhakar Gupta, <\/strong>Dean Academics, SRMS CET.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The session kicked-off with welcome address by Dr LS Maurya, followed by introducing of NATCOM theme &amp; significance by Er Raj Goel. Shri Dev Murti urged participants to plan similar conferences in future too. During the engaging conference, total 38 research papers were presented in 3 technical sessions, chaired by <strong>Dr Hemant Yadav,<\/strong> Director FIET;<strong> Er Sudhir Gupta, <\/strong>Ex-Chairman IEI, Bareilly Local Centre &amp; <strong>Er KB Agarwal,<\/strong> Member IEI addressing on \u2018Ethical &amp; Responsible AI\u2019. Two expert sessions were also delivered by<strong> Dr Shikhar Agarwal,<\/strong> SR, Department of General Surgery &amp; <strong>Dr Prakhar Bhatt, <\/strong>SR, ENT Department at SRMSIMS, on \u2018Robot Surgery in Healthcare\u2019 &amp; \u2018Cochlear Implant: The Artificial Ear\u2019 respectively. Later,<strong> Professor Dr SS Bedi <\/strong>from Department of CS &amp; IT,  MJP Rohilkhand University, Bareilly discussed wider aspects of AI &amp; Chat GPT trends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event concluded with valedictory session &amp; prize distribution wherein <strong>Dr Ashutosh Pandey,<\/strong> Assistant Professor, Basic Science (CET) &amp; BTech (CS) final year students (CETR)\u2014<strong>Brij Mohan Joshi<\/strong> &amp; <strong>Harsh Vardhan Saxena <\/strong>received \u2018Best Paper Award\u2019 in faculty and students category respectively. <br>The conference was well convened by Er Manvi Mishra, Head, CS Dept &amp;
