\u2018FIT INDIA WEEK\u2019 WITH A THRILLING MIX OF FITNESS FRENZY EVENTS!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering <\/strong>at Shri Ram Murti Smarak College of Engineering, Technology & Research (SRMS CETR), Bareilly<\/strong> conducted \u2018FIT INDIA WEEK\u2019<\/strong> recently at its CETR campus<\/strong>. Aligned with Government of India\u2019s Fit India Movement Campaign, Fit India Week<\/strong> featured exciting activities such as Hosteller Cricket League, Poster Presentation & Basketball Match<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event kicked off with \u2018HOSTELLER CRICKET LEAGUE<\/strong>\u2019 wherein four hostel teams namely Phoenix Warriors, Royal Successors, Royal Challengers <\/strong>& The Thunderbolts <\/strong>participated and displayed standout performances. After fierce competition in pre-finals, the final match unfolded between Royal Successors <\/strong>& Phoenix Warriors, <\/strong>wherein Vishal Singh<\/strong> scored highest runs<\/strong> & Phoenix Warriors<\/strong> set the target of 53 runs with loss of 1 wicket in 6 overs. Finally, Royal Successors<\/strong> successfully chased the target with zero loss of wicket & won the match.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The four-day fitness celebration continued with \u2018POSTER PRESENTATION\u2019<\/strong> with participation of 15 students, who presented their ideas through attractive posters on theme \u2018Inspiring Fitness & Wellness in daily life\u2019.<\/strong> This was followed by a thrilling \u2018BASKETBALL MATCH\u2019, <\/strong>targeted for girl students only that witnessed enthusiastic participation of first- & third-year students of B Tech (CS). Amongst Team A & B, \u2018Team A\u2019 <\/strong>comprising of Ishika, Vandita, Bhumika, Ankita & Swati <\/strong>won the match by 6 points. The day culminated with giving away of trophies to winners in the presence of Dr LS Maurya<\/strong>, Principle CETR; Dr Rajeev Kumar Pandey<\/strong>, Chief Proctor; Er Ankit Khandelwal<\/strong>, DSW & several others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
