Shri Ram Murti Smarak (SRMS) Cricket Stadium<\/strong> at SRMS College of Engineering & Technology (CET), Bareilly<\/strong> witnessed a powerful culmination of AAMOD CRICKET CUP 2024<\/strong> that was organized in association with college\u2019s Tyro Club from March 29 to April 2, 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

The electrifying tournament featured teams from various SRMS Trust Institutions, namely SRMS Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS), SRMS Institute of Paramedical Sciences (IPS), SRMS College of Engineering Technology & Research (CETR), SRMS College of Nursing & SRMS CET<\/strong> that competed against each other in a series of intense matches.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Amongst the riveting clashes, SEMI FINALS were particularly gripping, wherein SRMS IMS Team A<\/strong> triumphed over SRMS IPS with a commanding 61-run victory, setting a score of 124\/10 (19.4 overs) against IPS’s 63\/10 (12.4 overs).The second Semi-Final saw SRMS CET A facing off against SRMS CETR in a closely fought battle, resulting in Team CET A’s<\/strong> victory by 2 wickets on a score of 117\/8 (19.3 overs) against CETR’s 116\/9 (20 overs).<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Finally, the GRAND FINALE<\/strong> unfolded between CET Team A & IMS Team A<\/strong>. In a thrilling showdown, IMS Team A <\/strong> emerged victorious by 5 wickets, achieving a score of 98\/5 (17 overs) against CET A’s 97\/10 (18.1 overs). Dr Faiz <\/strong> from SRMS IMS Team A<\/strong> clinched Man of the Match <\/strong> title for his exceptional performance, claiming 4 wickets, whereas Umang <\/strong> from SRMS CET A<\/strong> earned the prestigious Man of the Series <\/strong>title, scoring 150 runs & taking 2 wickets throughout the tournament.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Towards the end, Aditya Murti,<\/strong> Trust Secretary felicitated the winning & runners-up team with trophies and medals in the presence of Dr Prabhakar Gupta<\/strong>, Principal, CET; Dr Jitendra Yadav<\/strong>, Chief Proctor team coaches etc.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
